C&T Enterprises, Inc. provides management support services to the electric, gas utilities, and telecom sectors and is currently seeking a Call Center Operators Supervisor to join our team.

Location: The position will be located at the Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative headquarters in Mansfield, PA.

Reporting Structure: This position will report to the Call Center Operations manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College or relevant job-related training or experience (desired)
  • Ability to be a self-learner and execute directives
  • Strong adaptability and resilience in stressful circumstances
     
  • Supervisory and Call Center Experience (preferred)
     
  • Five years of experience in the utility field (preferred)
     
  • Familiarity with IVUE/OMS or other call center-related software programs (preferred)
     
  • Experience operating a two-way radio (preferred)
     
  • Supervisory skills: Ability to learn the territories of Call Center operations and effectively supervise and manage operational scheduling in the Call Center
     
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to promptly identify issues and effectively communicate information with attention to detail using Call Center systems, processes, procedures, and activities

Responsibilities:

As the Call Center Operators Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinating the seven-day work schedule for Call Center employees, billing, and reviewing quality assurance reports in the absence of the Manager of Call Center Operations
     
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Call Center to ensure daily objectives are completed
     
  • On-call after-hours for Call Center emergencies
  • Responding to caller's inquiries regarding billing or service concerns
     
  • Taking messages, entering service orders, and typing dispatch logs for each company
  • Dispatching and informing of outage or trouble calls to the appropriate service crew(s)
     
  • Provide support to C&T internet service companies, including, but not limited to, internet trouble tickets, phone trouble tickets, and sales
     
  • Review and correct logs as required
  • Under the direction of the Manager of Call Center Operations, implement technology, program, and troubleshoot for the Call Center and operating companies for the following technologies: phone system, radios, reporting software, recording software, and IVR software
     
  • Coordinate with the Manager of Call Center Operations the training of all Call Center employees for their job duties
     
  • Participate in planning policies and procedures for the department
  • Work with all company representatives that contract Call Center services from C&T
  • Represent the Call Center at internal C&T and external customer meetings and events
  • Participate in the hiring and evaluation process for Call Center employees
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports for billing purposes at the direction of the Manager of Call Center Operations
  • Prepare/update job procedure manuals for employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned to fulfill the needs of the organization

Special Working Conditions:

Normal hours for this position are 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and may be flexed to 3:30 p.m. to midnight when required. Shifts can also include first and second shifts, holidays, weekends, and other irregular hours due to meetings, training, or coverage for outages and/or shift coverages. The work schedule is subject to change.

Primary Function: This role's primary responsibility is to oversee daily financial and accounting functions, prepare financial reports, and provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable. In addition, this position will include responsibilities and financial activities related to Claverack Communications, the cooperative's subsidiary.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field
     
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles and procedures, as well as spreadsheet and database software
     
  • Three years of accounting experience (preferred)

  • Supporting the billing processes by maintaining accurate records and timely invoicing

Responsibilities:

As the System Engineer (Electric Distribution) Level I & Level II, the candidate's responsibilities will involve both office and field work involvement and include:

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external engineering firms to create short-term and long-range plans for enhancing the electric distribution facility improvement plan.
     
  • Perform system coordination studies and provide protective device settings for fault-isolating equipment within the distribution system.
     
  • Research and devise strategies to leverage the fiber infrastructure to create a more robust electric distribution system, including distribution automation.
     
  • Assist in the planning, designing, and mapping of new fiber infrastructure in conjunction with the electric system.
     
  • Develop predictive maintenance programs utilizing advanced technologies such as drones, various software, and SCADA systems.
     
  • Develop preventive maintenance routines and schedules for electrical equipment distribution, following industry best practices, NETA recommendations, and manufacturers’ O&M manuals.
     
  • Assume the role of project manager for large-scale Distribution and Transmission projects.
     
  • Review, modify, and interconnect all Alternative Energy Systems interconnected to Tri-County REC’s distribution system.
     
  • Provide support for the Cooperative's two-way metering AMI system(s), including load management. Implement initiatives to maximize their capabilities and develop report analysis.
     
  • Perform other related work as assigned.
