C&T Enterprises, Inc. will receive letters of interest for the position of Business Development Manager for Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative’s (REC) subsidiary, Claverack Communications, LLC (Revolution Broadband).

Location: The position will be located at the Claverack REC headquarters in Wysox, PA.

Reporting Structure: This position will report to the Director of Broadband Operations for Claverack Communications, LLC.

Primary Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving subscriber growth and increasing revenue for our broadband and related services. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, developing actionable goal-oriented sales plans, and converting opportunities into long-term customers of Revolution Broadband.

This position is hands-on and execution-focused, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a small business environment where strategy and action go hand in hand.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred
• Three to five years of sales & marketing experience
• Working knowledge of broadband internet and voice services
• Experience in business development, sales, or growth roles, preferably in rural markets
• Willing to learn, effectively work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude
• Delivers courteous, professional service and maintains positive working relationships
• General understanding of telecommunications services and technologies
• Strong analytical, organizational, creative thinking skills
• Knowledge of data analysis and report writing
• Computer skills, including basic operation and knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing documents, and company-specific software applications
• Applies problem-solving skills to identify and utilize basic troubleshooting techniques to promptly resolve issues, demonstrating the ability to balance multiple duties and priorities

Responsibilities:

As the Business Development Manager, the candidate's responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute strategies to grow residential, commercial, and enterprise subscribers
• Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, service upgrades, and expansion of existing accounts
• Identify underserved markets, neighborhoods, and members for broadband expansion
• Collaborate with the director of broadband operations to evaluate funding opportunities for broadband expansion
• Collaborate with operations and network teams to align sales efforts with network capabilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including commercial and enterprise accounts, hosted PBX and business phone systems, anchor institutions (schools, healthcare, municipal entities), strategic partnerships and reseller opportunities
• Research local market conditions, competitors, and pricing trends
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Develop go-to-market strategies for new services, expansions, or promotions
• Track progress against goals and adjust strategies as needed
• Build strong relationships with customers, local businesses, community leaders, and Claverack REC/Revolution partners
• Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and community meetings
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, clearly communicating service value and differentiators
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts
• Report regularly on subscriber growth, revenue performance, and opportunity pipeline
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, messaging, and lead generation
• Provide customer and market feedback to leadership and operations teams
• Perform other related work as assigned

Special Working Conditions:

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is required
• Ability to serve on internal and external committees
• Occasional overnight travel required
• The incumbent must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record

Reporting Structure: The position will report to the Crew Chief at Citizens’.

Primary Responsibilities: To work under the direction of a Crew Chief and/or Journeyman Line Technician to safely perform maintenance, operation, and construction tasks on the Company’s distribution systems and equipment, in full compliance with established safety procedures, codes, company policies, and objectives. Recommend improvements to job processes, materials, and supplies. Maintain positive employee relations and foster goodwill between the company and its customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• One to two years of related experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of line construction, materials, devices, and machinery.
• Basic understanding of the electrical system, including substations and related equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical principles applied to line work on de-energized distribution systems under direct supervision.
• Strong commitment to safety, with comprehensive knowledge of and adherence to the Company’s Safety Rules and OSHA standards.
• Must have the mental capabilities, muscular coordination, and stamina to safely perform all phases of the job under all weather conditions.
• Demonstrate personal skills and behaviors that promote effective teamwork, efficient work processes, and the ability to complete assigned tasks thoroughly.

• Develop a basic understanding of electricity and its principles.
• Gain knowledge of all Company Safety Rules, Rural Utilities Service (RUS) construction specifications, and OSHA standards.
• Build proficiency in pole climbing and related tasks under close supervision on de-energized lines.
• Learn proper fitting and use of climbing gear and personal protective equipment.
• Participate in tailboard safety meetings and monthly safety meetings as required.
• Learn proper operation and maintenance of trucks, hydraulic equipment, buckets, diggers, and power and hand tools.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of substation equipment under supervision.
• Become familiar with the Company’s distribution system and equipment such as capacitors, regulators, reclosers, and three-phase transformer banks.
